Super Agent

What were you like at school?

I was an odd little owl of a boy who was really into nature and used to bring dead bats and other things I’d find in the forest beside our village into class. Despite this frankly weird behaviour I was described as a “good mixer” in school reports. I was terrible at sports but that didn’t stop me running around all the time and trying incredibly hard. I once corrected my teacher and was made to stand in a corner for a long time (I was right and regret nothing).

What inspires you about the Super Power Agency?

I think Leith is a fun, lively place to live and grow up. I’d like everyone in Leith to get the chance to share that with the world, to talk about it, write about it and take pride in where we’re from.

If you could be any flavour of ice cream what would you be?

My 3 year old son keeps licking my face in public and it’s really embarrassing so I think I’d go with Turnip.

The Super Power Agency is dedicated to supporting young people, aged 8-18, using a range of writing workshops, interdisciplinary creative programmes and a corps of volunteers. Our aim is to give students the support they need to close the attainment gap in education.
