Super Agent

Alice opening doors

What were you like at school?

I recently found a lot of my primary school reports, which all seem to say that I was shy and a little away with the fairies – lots of comments about daydreaming and forgetting things, like my recorder to music lessons. Not much has changed in that respect!

What inspires you about the Super Power Agency?

Reading, writing and storytelling can open the door to whole new worlds, which is pretty much the coolest super power there is. What inspires me about the Super Power Agency is that it brings the awe and excitement of literacy to children and young people who have otherwise felt disengaged from it.

If you could be any flavour of ice cream, what would it be?

Rice pudding ice cream.

The Super Power Agency is dedicated to supporting young people, aged 8-18, using a range of writing workshops, interdisciplinary creative programmes and a corps of volunteers. Our aim is to give students the support they need to close the attainment gap in education.
