What were you like at school?
Sometimes rowdy, mostly meek and fairly studious – not a contender in the sport but a participator, never had the balls to ask out the girls I fancied, until I did.
Are you a spring, summer, autumn or winter person?
Aw them seasons are bobby-dazzling in their own way but I’m flinging for winter. It’s partly to do with the extensive collection of knitwear I’ve amassed, partly to do with the snow and shimmering ice, mostly to do with Christmas (……Jingle Bells).
What inspires you about this project?
See the horses that carousels around in our imaginative minds are at their most astounding, colourful and confusing when young and sprightly. The agency, it gets that, it’s moving with them. So here’s to harnessing the baby genius in us (/reinventing genius) and benefiting from that in nowness until foreverness.
The Super Power Agency is dedicated to supporting young people, aged 8-18, using a range of writing workshops, interdisciplinary creative programmes and a corps of volunteers. Our aim is to give students the support they need to close the attainment gap in education.
