What were you like at school?

Bullied, mainly. Life gets much better.

Who would win a fight between batman and spiderman?

Thanks to stories – books – I’ve never felt alone, and rarely bored. They have inspired me to travel the world, to talk to people about their lives and tell their stories.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you today, this week or this year?

Being dressed as Gandolf was very funny. As the lines were drawn on my face, making me look old, everyone kept saying, “We’re so, so sorry.”

What inspires you about this project?

Thanks to stories – books – I’ve never felt alone, and rarely bored. They have inspired me to travel the world, to talk to people about their lives and tell their stories. Stories have given me a great life.
