Chapter 1: In the Boat

This is the boat. Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself. Hi I’m Alex Orion. Right now I’m on a boat to the island of Deran.

The good news. My best friend Maisie-Anne-Margeret (or Maisie for short) is on the boat too. The bad news. So is Amarah L. Cane. She is the worst. She’s so full of herself.

Chapter 2: Hello Amarah

“Oh hi Maisie.”

“You didn’t tell me we were going to be on the water,” Maisie screamed.

“Well it’s a boat. I thought it was obvious.”

“But Amarah said…”

“Amarah? You listened to her?”

“Well… yes.”

“We’re going to go to Kerroom right now!”

“Hello Amarah.”

Amarah turned around with a puzzled look, “Hello Alex and Maisie.”

Wow, her room is big. I could fit three of my rooms in there.

“What are you two doing here?” said Amarah, who was obviously angry at us for barging in.

“Why did you lie to Maisie?” I yelled.

“Because she’s afraid of water. I was just trying to be nice.”

“No you weren’t. You’re a liar. You’re so horrid, Amarah Lydia Cane.”
