Have you ever wondered what a rat would do with bitcoin? Or why chickens would move from Spain to Mexico to get better WIFI? No? Well why not?
Since 2016 we’ve been on a mission, to equip Scotland’s youth with the ultimate superpower – the ability to write their own story and every one of them is incredible. So far, we’ve worked with over 5,000 young people, published 49 books of their work and proved without a doubt that their voices deserve to be heard. Now we’re giving you the chance to see and hear their accomplishments for yourself – book here!
This event is the culmination of creative writing workshops the SPA has run throughout 2024, with 272 young people across 8 schools. It’s an opportunity to experience first-hand, the individuality and imagination flowing through Scotland’s youth today and to publicly acknowledge their achievements (and maybe even buy the books) of these newly published authors.
Scotland has always been a nation of storytellers, poets, and playwrights and Young Team’s Got Talent brings together young writers and established well known authors to show that that spirit of creativity is still alive and well. It promised to be a great night, so get it in your diary now.
